While he still has his final season of high school wrestling ahead of him, one Bishop McCort student says he wants to spend the next four years of his wrestling career at Rec Hall.

But after some time and thought, the highly decorated wrestlers decided to stay home.

A new dog park will soon be coming to Cambria County.
The idea of a dog park in Ebensburg has been thrown around for years now and it’s finally coming to reality.
WJAC spoke to those involved in the Ebensburg Dog Park project and they tell us they’re very excited.

PHILIPSBURG – Mount Nittany Health announced the opening of its new Philipsburg practice on Monday.
The practice is located at 1061 North Front Street.
The new location offers 12 family medicine practice exam rooms, an outpatient lab and space for a future radiology suite.
It will also provide several specialty services, beginning with Christopher Yingling, MD, urology, Mount Nittany Physician Group. Future services will include cardiology, infectious disease, endocrinology and nephrology.
A 26-year-old Somerset woman has been charged after she allegedly led police on a late-night chase Tuesday.
According to a probable-cause affidavit, just after 11 p.m. Conemaugh Township police attempted to stop a vehicle driven by Erica Barkman, of Somerset, at the Go Moore Store along Woodstown Highway.
The vehicle then took off toward state Route 219, according to the affidavit.
Windber and state police departments were called to assist in the pursuit.
WASHINGTON (TND) — A 31-year-old Colorado woman who authorities said had a sexual relationship with a 13-year-old boy and became pregnant with his child won't be facing jail time, according to reports. The Fountain Police Department said Andrea Serrano was arrested in July 2022 on felony charges, including sexual assault on a child by one in a position of trust, as well as sexual assault on a child. Police said she admitted to having sex with the teenager and was booked into the El Paso County Criminal Justice Center.

In Blair County, customers are reacting to the possibility of the store closing.
