WASHINGTON (TND) — There is talk about whether President Joe Biden's name will appear on the Ohio ballot this November. Ohio Secretary of State Frank LaRose addressed the issue on social media, noting the state's house speaker said "there won't be a legislative solution" to an obscure provision of an Ohio law that requires presidential candidates be certified ahead of the general election. LaRose said the law requires the political party selecting its presidential and vice presidential candidates must certify the names of the candidates with the secretary of state 90 days before the general election to ensure they will be on the ballot.

PITTSBURGH (AP) — Crews were on the scene of a house collapse in Pittsburgh Friday morning. No injuries were reported, and officials haven’t said if anyone was home when the house collapsed. NBC affiliate WPXI, reports the collapse happened on Semicir Street. Authorities later confirmed the collapse was caused by a landslide. Video of the scene shows a ravine between the street and the front lawn of the home. According to local reports, that road has had issues from landslides before.

CANTON, Ohio (AP) — Alan Faneca overcame bouts with epilepsy to become one of the premier offensive linemen in the NFL. He's now been inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame. A six-time All-Pro with Pittsburgh in his 10 seasons there, he also was a lead blocker and locker room presence for the Jets for two years. Faneca completed his stellar career with one season in Arizona.
