BRADY TOWNSHIP, Pa. (WJAC) — One man is dead after a car versus motorcycle crash on Route 219 in Clearfield County Thursday.
Officials say the crash happened just before 2:30 p.m. on Carson Hill Road, which is also Route 219, just south of Ace Valley Road in Brady Township.
Police say a motorcycle operated by 77-year-old John Weber crossed into the opposite lane and collided with another vehicle.
The driver of the car was taken to the hospital for suspected minor injuries, police say.
CAMBRIA COUNTY, Pa. (WJAC) — The show must go on at the Community Arts Center of Cambria County. Despite most activities being done 6-feet apart and with a mask the community arts center will be putting on a play, but with a twist to keep everyone safe.
Actors will perform The Prisoner of Second Avenue written by Neil Simon outside of the community arts center to allow for social distancing.

WASHINGTON (AP) — The Justice Department on Thursday formally moved to reclassify marijuana as a less dangerous drug in a historic shift in generations of U.S. drug policy.
A proposed rule sent to the federal register recognizes the medical uses of cannabis and acknowledges it has less potential for abuse than some of the nation's most dangerous drugs. The plan approved by Attorney General Merrick Garland does not legalize marijuana outright for recreational use.
Clearfield County District Attorney Ryan Sayers said cases brought to law enforcement by predator hunter groups will no longer be prosecuted in the county.
Pred Hunter groups have become more prevalent in the past few years. They are local vigilantes pretending to be underage, trying to catch would-be child predators.
Sayers said his office and local law enforcement originally decided to pursue attempted contact with minors charges but was told they do not hold up in court.

EBENSBURG, Pa (WJAC) — There was a "Spud Stroll" event Saturday in downtown Ebensburg, meant to carry on the town’s "Potato Fest" tradition on a smaller scale.
Organizers say the event was created to continue supporting local businesses without drawing too many people to one place.
Visitors gathered in the Penn Eben Park, and the surrounding streets downtown, to listen to music, eat some food, and hang out with friends.
